Orion were tasked with completing full 180m of platform adjustments and gauging works at Haslemere Station. The second phase consisted of the complete removal and reinstatement of 7 user works level crossing and 2 timber level crossings.
Phase 1 – During the Haslemere renewal, Orion Rail was tasked with completing 180m of coping stone adjustments and gauging works. All civils works completed, and in line with the proposed design. Encompassing all horizontal and vertical adjustments and replacement of damaged coping stones. Works included full replacement, damaged tactile, full platform; white and yellow line raplacement and full gauging to the proposed design. Break out and reinstatement of the existing tarmac was required at 180m, to ensure a safe and neat completed works.
Phase 2 – Orion Rail, working as the main civils contractor, was tasked with removing and reinstating seven level crossing, RRAPS and additional civils works. Orion procured and installed all new Strail level crossings per the existing design as part of the Marlow Renewal. Requiring extensive planning to ensure that all RRAPs were reinstated per the client’s program. All additional civils, tarmac and auxiliary works were completed by Orion to ensure a safe handback of the installment.
